The Space Satellite allows man kind to communicate and take pictures of space. Most Satellites have 2 wings that have solar panels on them. The Sputnik 1 was the first satellite to be launched up into space by Russia on 4 October 1957. Since then countries have launched many satellites and now they are piling up in space. Many space stations are in danger because of this. Now people have searched for a solution and now ideas have come up. The good things about satellites are they allow man to see into deep space, one of theses satellites is the Hubble Space Telescope. It has been damaged by space junk and the U.S had to send up a space shuttle to repair it. Humans could not have advanced this far without satellites. They will always be with us even when we have starship and more advanced spacecraft.
There are thousands of pieces of space junk in space from when satellites crash together. Here is a idea of how people will get rid of the space junk.
